THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - The Thomasville community had a close call at a local middle school Friday morning.
At around 10:00 a.m. on January 31, Thomasville Police responded to McIntyre Park Middle School and Scholars Academy, following complaints of a student being grabbed by a strange male.
Officers were told that the suspicious male grabbed the 8th grader by the bookbag. The student was able to escape unharmed and report the incident to administrators, but the suspicious male fled.
The suspect was described to officers as a white male approximately six feet tall, with brown hair and a light beard. The Thomasville Police Department's investigation is ongoing.
