THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--Thomasville police are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Commercial Bank on East Pinetree Blvd.

Major Eric Hampton says they got the call around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. A man went inside the bank, pointed a gun at a teller, and demanded money. Hampton says he left with an undisclosed amount of money.

A witness at the drive-thru thought something was wrong when no one came to help her and noticed a white Dodge pick-up truck parked illegally in front of the bank. Police believe the man may have left in that vehicle.

Police describe him as black, about 5'10", and between 200-210 pounds. They also say he was wearing a hoodie, sunglasses and dark clothing.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

If you know anything about his whereabouts or the truck parked outside the bank call 911.
