THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--The Thomasville Police Department is trying to get reaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.
Assessors will inspect the department July 19 through July 22. A public hearing will be held on July 20 at 6 p.m. It will be in the courtroom at the Bobby Hines Justice Center on Smith Avenue.
The purpose of the hearing is to allow Thomasville residents to address the assessment team with comments or recommendations about the Thomasville Police Department.
