THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--Thomas County deputies are looking for a Thomasville man who they say is responsible for stealing copper wire from an AT&T substation.

They say with the help from witnesses and surveillance video they were able to identify 53-year-old Wayne John Schryver.

Deputies say workers were adding and installing new equipment at the site near County Line Road and Dogwood Lane on January 20. When they came back the next day copper wire was stolen and a circuit box damaged.

The amount stolen is valued at just a couple hundred dollars but repairs at the site could cost thousands. If you've seen him, deputies say to call (229) 225-4151.
