THOMASVILLE, FL. (WTXL) - A Thomasville man is recovering after being stabbed over weekend.
It happened around midnight Sunday outside the Green Food Mart.
Danny Robinson, who is homeless says, a man asked him for a cigarette. When he denied the man a smoke and suggested he needed Jesus instead, the man began cursing at him and stabbed him.
Robinson says, the physical pain was not the most painful part of the ordeal.
"People are like that man just stood there, the bottle was broke on him and he didn't say ouch or fall or nothing. If you're going to be bold then you're going to take whatever is going to happen"
Robinson says, his faith is stronger than ever now. He is thankful that despite some minor bruising, he didn't get hurt too bad.
Police say, they are still on the lookout for the individual responsible for the assault.
