THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--A carjacking suspect has been arrested in Thomasville.
Around 9 a.m., Thomas County sheriff's investigators took Anthony Akery into custody. The sheriff's office says he was at the Pediatric Center on Gordon Avenue sitting in a car.
Thomasville police say he has no connection to the center and that investigators got information he would be there.
He's being charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault.
Thomasville police took him to the Thomas County Jail.
They are still looking for Jonathan Bussey. On January 29, at a convenience store on West Jackson Street police say Bussey and Akery asked two people for a ride, then got in the vehicle, pistol whipped them, and stole their vehicle. If you know where Bussey might be, call police at (229) 227-3249.
