Thomasville authorities issue 93 tickets during Fri. road checks

THOMASVILLE, Ga. --Thomasville authorities arrested and ticketed dozens of people during road checks on Friday, March 22. 

The three road checks were performed by the Thomasville Police Department and the South West Traffic Enforcement Network  at the following locations: Smith Ave and Kern St., East Jackson St. and Glenwood Dr. and Cairo Road and The 319 Bypass.

People were issued tickets for seat belt violations, drivers license infractions, window tint violations, expired tags, open containers, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

There was a total of 93 tickets and 23 arrests made, including three felony drug possession arrests.

All charges were made by the Thomasville Police Department and Georgia State Patrol.
