Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)- It was the senior capstone project for social work majors at Thomas University. Saturday, community members laced up their walking shoes to raise awareness about domestic violence.
The "Walk it Out" event was hosted by graduating seniors studying social work, in collaboration with Brehon Family Services.
Brehon serves pregnant women in North Florida by providing pre-natal and post natal care, and encouraging local mothers to create nurturing environments for their children through educational outreach.
