THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) -- Thomas University held its 62nd commencement Saturday, awarding 372 degrees, including associate, bachelor's and master's.
TU historian Gale Whitehurst was named Professor of the Year.
Charles Dunne, a former foreign policy advisor at the Pentagon, delivered the commencement address.
University officials say this is one of the largest classes in its history, thanks to growing graduate degree programs.
Thomas University started in 1950 as Birdwood Junior College and has operated under its current name since 2000.
