THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--A Thomas county woman found lying in the middle of a road has died.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents say Jennifer Mims was found unconscious and bleeding, just after 9 p.m. on Stewart Road Tuesday.
Mims was taken to Archbold Memorial Hospital. Agents say she died around 11 a.m. Thursday.
Right now they're trying to piece together what happened.
Her body is being sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Macon for an autopsy.
