THOMAS COUNTY, GA. (WTXL)-- Officials in the Thomas County School District are unveiling more technology for the upcoming school year.
After receiving several technology grants, the county spent the summer training teachers on how to use educational apps, as well as how to apply technology to stem programs. Thomas county middle school will be starting off the year with hundreds of chrome books, laptops, as well as a handful of i-pads.
Thomas County Officials say they're hoping the access to technology helps prepare students for potential stem careers.
