THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)-The Thomas County Historical Society held their annual business meeting Sunday afternoon.
The meeting included a brief year-end review and a chance to talk about future changes.
During the meeting, the organization announced the launch of their new brand, showcasing the history of Thomas County.
"We spent the year talking to the community asking what it is that they thought would be the best way to identify us, which is how we ended up settling on the Thomasville History Center," said Thomas County Historical Society curator Ephriam Rotter.
Members who helped design the organization's new brand, Michele Arwood from the Thomasville Center for the Arts and Halle McCollum of FM Brand and Design held a joint presentation on their experiences with successful rebranding campaigns.
After the meeting, the Thomas County Historical Society posted a video to their Facebook page unveiling their new brand "Thomasville History Center."
