THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - The Thomas County Sheriff's Office is asking for information regarding a weekend shooting that left two injured.
Deputies said that the shooting happened Saturday at a parking lot behind What-A-Burger and Longhorn's Steakhouse on U.S. 19.
They said that a fight broke out around 10 p.m., and just seconds later, there were 15 to 20 shots fired. They believe it may have been an arranged fight, as there were around 50 people gathered in the area, possibly to watch.
Two people were injured during the incident, but were treated and released from the hospital.
