THOMAS Co., (WTXL) - Commissioners are discussing the addition of armed security guards at Thomas county meetings.
According to Councilor Wiley Grady, some of the county leaders have expressed concerns about security with recent terror attacks and other violent incidents.
Grady says you can never know what to expect when dealing with the public.
The decision will be made at a January 7 property committee meeting.
Grady says only one of the councilors has expressed concerns, but that most of the other councilors are considering the measure.
