TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Eldercare's Annual Oktoberfest kicked off Friday.

This year they'll have a silent auction, tons of food, games, and of course a live Oktoberfest style band. It's an experience you won't want to miss.

"We can enjoy unlimited beer, unlimited wine, unlimited German cuisine, we've got an ice cream truck, we've got games like over-sized beer pong and cornhole as well as a traditional silent auction and even some wine and beer tastings," said Abby Cooke.

WTXL is proud sponsors of Eldercare Service's Oktoberfest. If you haven't got tickets yet don't worry, you can still purchase them at the gate.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - We're just days away from the highly anticipated event, Oktoberfest.

The event, now in it's 20th year, doubles as a celebrated fall tradition and as a fundraiser for Elder Care Services.

Proceeds will go to support programs such as Meals on Wheels, Senior Adult Daycare, and Caregiver Respite Services.

All in hopes to help improve the quality of life for seniors in our community.

"Come on out, help Elder Care Services to continue to grow in our mission of making sure the seniors are well taken care of in our community, because every time you can help someone else, trust me you are going to feel a whole lot better about it," said Michael Henderson, Vice President and Food Service Director of Elderly Care Services.

The event is this Friday, the 28th, at the Pavillion at the Centre of Tallahassee.

VIP admission is at 5:30 p.m., and general admission is at 6:30 P.M.
