TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Maclay Gardens is gearing up for it's 28th Annual Camellia Christmas.

Sasha Craft and Ginger Nichols visited Midday to go over the event details.

Camellia Christmas is this Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park located at 3540 Thomasville Road.

The even is free and open to the public.

You can stroll the candle-lit walk and enjoy the holiday music.

Enjoy hot cider and cookies while awaiting the arrival of Santa.

This event is a wonderful introduction to the season and a fun way to share the holiday spirit with friends and family.

The historic Maclay House will be open and filled with original natural greenery adorned with camellias, created by local Garden Club Flower Show judges.

Bid on festive holiday wreaths and decorations for your home donated by local merchants to benefit the park.
