TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- Tallahassee Fire Department reported a fire yesterday at the 2000 Block of Lawson Road around 3:23 pm Tuesday.
They say, when firefighters arrived on scene, there was heavy fire and smoke showing.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames. TFD is reporting, that two cats died in the fire. No other injuries were reported.
While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, early indications reported say that the blaze appears to be accidental and started by an unattended candle.
Estimated damages are $225,000.
