TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Fire Department is investigating a fire that occurred at a local apartment complex and caused $50,000 in damages.
According to TFD, the fire happened around 1 p.m. on Friday, at Sunrise Apartments.
TFD said everyone made it out safely before their arrival and no injuries were reported.
The Red Cross was on scene to assist families with temporary shelter. TFD was also assisted on scene by LCEMS, Tallahassee Police Department and City Utilities.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by investigators with the Tallahassee Fire Department Prevention Division.
