TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - According to Florida State University's Police Department, a report of a suspicious package turned out to be a term paper.
Florida State University's Police Department posted on their Facebook page that they were investigating a suspicious package. They said that someone had called in to report a suspicious package.
Around 7 p.m. on Friday, they posted that they were investigating the area between Bellamy and Rovetta.
After a thorough search, Major Jim Russell confirmed that the package was not a threat saying, "Yes, someone called in a suspicious package. It turned out to be a term paper. All good!"
