TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - With colder temperatures headed our way, a team of agencies are providing temporary shelter from the cold Thursday and Friday nights, November 13 and 14, 2014.
Any adult male who needs to get out of the cold weather temporarily should report to The Shelter, 480 West Tennessee Street by 6:45 p.m. They will then be transported to the temporary cold night shelter at First Baptist Church, Christian Life Center. It opens at 9:00 p.m. and remains open overnight, closing the following morning at 7:00 a.m.
Women and children are advised to also go to The Shelter where they will be able to stay.
