TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - With colder temperatures expected this week, a team of agencies are providing temporary shelter from the cold each night this week from Tuesday through Friday, December 9-12, 2014.
Any adult male who needs to get out of the cold weather temporarily should report to The Shelter, 480 West Tennessee Street by 6:45 p.m. They will then be transported to the temporary cold night shelter at First Baptist Church, Christian Life Center. It opens at 9:00 p.m. and remains open overnight, closing the following morning at 7:00 a.m.
Women and families with children are advised to also go to The Shelter where they will be able to stay.
