TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - With temperatures continuing to rise, people are blasting their air conditioners.
But how do you keep your utility bills from getting out of hand?
Thursday, officials with the Talquin Electric Company shared tips and answered questions. They say for the majority of households, 70 percent of the electric bill is air conditioning usage.
One of the main things people should do to help their bill is to make sure your air conditioning unit is working properly by getting it serviced.
Talquin says members should also make sure their pools are operating correctly.
