WAKULLA Co., FL (WTXL) - Two teens have been arrested after a car chase and eventual crash in Wakulla County.

The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office says Sylvenson Lover Michel, 18, and an unnamed 17-year-old driver were taken in custody Wednesday after their stolen vehicle crashed in Wakulla County.

Deputies say they received a call about a suspicious vehicle dumping items that appeared to be stolen.

Later, the same vehicle was reported for reckless driving at the Ivan Assembly of God Church. A 14-year-old female got into the car and that is when deputies started following the vehicle.

They say the vehicle lost control on Springhill Road and hit a tree, going airborne and flipping three times.

Five teens were in the vehicle including Michel, the driver, and the 14-year-old girl. Those with injuries were taken to the hospital.

The driver is being charged with high speed fleeing and eluding, interfering with child custody, leaving the scene of an accident with injury, grand theft of a vehicle and obstructing justice.

Michel was charged with grand theft of a vehicle and interfering with child custody.

Charges are pending against a third teenage for vehicle theft and interfering with child custody.
