WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) -  A 13-and 14-year-old were arrested after stealing various items from a local mall.

On Jan. 4, a complainant reported to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office that during the early morning hours the day before, Crum’s Min-Mall in Panacea was burglarized.

During the burglary, the two suspects were captured on surveillance video.

The business owner told deputies that his employees had noticed multiple lighters missing from the front counter so he reviewed video surveillance footage in an attempt to determine where the lighters had gone.

He said he saw the two suspects break through a glass door, causing approximately $2,500 in damage.

The suspects then stole various items, including lighters, condoms, cigarettes and cigars.

Surveillance images were shared to Facebook, resulting in numerous calls from the public on the identity of the suspects.

The two suspects were identified as 13 and 14-year-old teenagers.

The two suspects were brought in by the mother of one of the suspects for questioning and deputies determined that the stolen items from Crum’s Mini-Mall was at one of the suspects’ home.

Both suspects are being charged with burglary, grand theft, and criminal mischief.

They were taken to the Wakulla County Jail.
