VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - A 19-year-old wanted in Lee County, Florida for murder charges was arrested in Lowndes County on Wednesday, according to officials.
The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office says they arrested Levon Barnes at a home on North Ashley Street in Valdosta.
Barnes was wanted for murder charges from an incident in Lee County. Deputies say the Marshall Service contacted them regarding Barnes and investigators were able to located him.
Barnes was arrested without incident according to deputies. He is being held in the Lowndes County Jail until he can be extradited to Florida.
