VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - A 14-year-old is in the hospital after his leg was run over by a school bus in Lowndes County, according to authorities.
The accident happened on Dinky Run Road near Burkardt Drive according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Officers say the 14-year-old ran towards the bus and lost his balance. The teen fell under the bus and his leg was run over by the passenger side rear tires.
The teen was taken to South Georgia Medical Center according to law enforcement.
