JACKSONVILLE, FL (WTXL) - A South Florida community is mourning after the sudden loss of a teenager.
According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office, 14 year old William Shogran Junior was at a football camp when the death occurred.
Sebastian River High School was holding the first of the season football camp at Camp Blanding. That's when Shogran began showing signs of possible heat exhaustion. The coach called 911 after Shogran began vomiting.
Shogran was taken to a local hospital where he later died. He was a home schooled student and had just joined the week long camp.
An autopsy is being done in Alachua County.
