TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A 17-year-old driver has been cited for careless driving in a crash involving a Leon County school bus.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a 17-year-old female from Tallahassee was driving east on Tower Road when she failed to stop for traffic and ran into the back of a car.
The impact of the crash caused the second car to run into a Leon County school bus. Troopers say that 37 children were on board at the time of the crash.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported by the children. Both the bus driver and the 17-year-old driver were uninjured as well.
FHP says the 17-year-old driver has been cited for careless driving.
