MIAMI (AP) — Police have arrested a teen in a Miami nightclub shooting that left 15 people injured.
Miami Police Chief Manuel Orosa said Monday 17-year-old Will Campbell faces multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder and 14 counts of aggravated battery.
The shooting happened at a nightclub called The Spot on Sept. 28.
Investigators say the intended target of the shooting was a 15-year-old boy. He remains in critical condition. Fourteen others were injured as bullets flew through the club. The youngest person injured was 11.
Police say witnesses identified Campbell. He is being charged as a juvenile, but the charges could be upgraded.
