TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A 18-year-old has been arrested in connection to 15 different car burglaries throughout Tallahassee and Leon County.
Members of the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and Tallahassee Police Department joint Auto Crimes Task Force arrested Cortez Brown, 18.
They said that beginning on June 11, a combined 15 cars were burglarized while being stored in the fenced in lots at Maaco Body Shop and Sheffield’s Body Shop.
Both businesses are located on West Pensacola Street.
Through investigation, the team was able to find evidence that Brown was the culprit.
Brown was then taken into custody without incident. He is being charged with burglary (X3), burglary of a Vehicle (X15), and trespassing on property (X2)
He was subsequently turned over to the Leon County Detention Facility.
