MOULTRIE, GA (WTXL) - Investigators said they have made an arrested after a fatal shooting at a community center in Moultrie.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, officers from the Moultrie Police Department arrested a 16-year-old suspect on Tuesday. The juvenile's identity has not been released.
Investigators said the suspect fired multiple shots from a moving vehicle near the Ryce Community Center on Sunday afternoon. One of the shots reportedly struck 33-year-old Fatisha Clark in the abdomen. She was rushed to the hospital where they said she later died from her injuries.
Investigators do not believe Clark was targeted. She was visiting the community center with two of her young children at the time of the shooting.
The 16-year-old is in a youth detention facility charged with felony murder.
