MOULTRIE, GA (WTXL) - A Colquitt County teen is under arrest after deputies said he created a fake Facebook account and used other social media apps to threaten his ex.

According to the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office, a student at Colquitt County High School went to her guidance counselor Monday to discuss threats being made by her ex-boyfriend.

The student said 19-year-old Gabriel Garza Jr. had sent the student messages by text as well as using the messenger app Kik, threatening to kill her, deputies said. The student also reportedly told deputies that Garza setup a fake Facebook profile, claiming to be her.

Deputies arrested Garza Monday afternoon. He is charged with felony terroristic threats and acts.
