TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A teen is arrested Saturday night, while driving to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself.
The Tallahassee Police pulled over a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Miccosukee and Magnolia. Two males were inside of the vehicle and one of them appeared to have a gun shot wound to his leg.
According to police, the teen accidentally shot himself and then asked his friend to drive him to the hospital. Officials say he handed his friend the keys to a stolen vehicle.
After being treated for his injuries, the 17-year-old was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center. The juvenile is charged with carrying a concealed firearm and vehicle theft. At this time, authorities are not releasing any identities.
