FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — A southwest Florida teenager is accused of making threats on Instagram to "shoot up" a school.
The 17-year-old from Fort Myers was arrested Thursday. The Lee County Sheriff's office says the threat was made on Nov. 10.
The boy is charged with making threats to kill or injure people.
The News-Press of Fort Myers (http://newspr.es/1t9KJZs ) reports police tracked the IP address to the teen's mother's home. They interviewed the teen and he was arrested. He's being held in a juvenile assessment center.
