TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Residents and business owners were able to mingle with various local technological businesses Friday.

This all took place at the 10th annual tech expo hosted by the TalTech Alliance

Those that attended were able to sit in on workshops and learn about up and coming technology that can be used to help further their business or life.

One such technology is taking advantage of the use of virtual reality, allowing architectural customers to change the face of 3D tours for their projects.

Other companies stayed more simplistic, helping to build better websites and phone applications for local businesses.

"Technology changes every single day," says Dustin Rivest a board member of TalTech Alliance. "Sometimes it's hard for business owners to keep up. Sometimes, they wonder 'Should we stay on the sideline and wait for the next big thing? should we implement it now? How are our employees going to react to this? is it going to benefit my bottom line? is it going to benefit my culture?' People, they come here to learn about how it could effect their business"

If you missed the event, but are still curious about how some of the newer technology can help your business, TalTech is there to help.
