TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - For people suffering from vision loss, an event Thursday is hoping to equip you with some cool gadgets.
WTXL's Jada Williams was live Thursday morning with a look at some of the cool offerings at the demo.
A lot of new gadgets will be put on display at the Lighthouse of the Big Bend, a non-profit that assists people suffering with vision loss.
For seven years, the Lighthouse of the Big Bend has sponsored their Techno Demo Day.
People dealing with vision lost can come to their office to find the newest and latest assistive technology.
Vendors from across the region come in to explain and demonstrate their products.
Some of those gadgets include magnifiers to help read and a machine that will tell you the value of the bill you insert into it.
Techno Demo Day will be at the Lighthouse of the Big Bend on Highland Oaks Terrace, which is just off of Capital Circle Northeast.
The event runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
