TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Community College will now be able to better provide educational opportunities to disabled students.
The "Able Trust" will present the college with the strategic employment grant on Wednesday. The grant will help the college afford vocational rehabilitation for disabled students.
TCC is the only college to receive the grant this year. The college will be awarded the grant at 2:30pm on Wednesday at the Center for Workforce Development at TCC's main campus.
Administrators of Tallahassee Community College, the Able Trust, The Department of Economic Opportunity, and Florida Department of Economic Opportunity director Jesse Panuccio will all be in attendence.
