TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - It's all about green spaces at TCC!

Folks gathered at Tallahassee Community College's main campus to dedicate a new garden Friday.

The garden is built in honor of founder Louis Hill Sr.

The Louis Hill Senior Garden is located in the center of the college's main campus. TCC officials say that spot was chosen to signify that Hill is the heart of the school.

Hill founded TCC in the 60's and spent his life working in education. His wife says, with the support of FSU's president, hill began to put his heart into opening a junior college.

Hill's daughter says a garden in his honor is very fitting because he loved the outdoors.
