TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Students at Tallahassee Community College will have a newly renovated lecture hall to learn in.
The Tallahassee Community College Foundation held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the hall this morning, as part of its First Class Project.
The hall is renamed the Kubiak Family Classroom in honor of the donors who supported its renovation.
"Most of all of our family are graduates of TCC and we know what education has meant to our family and were just glad to help other families meet their dreams of education and be able to accomplish things that they'd like to in life," said classroom donor Larry Kubika.
In May, the TCC Foundation unveiled the first eight classrooms renovated as part of the project. The remaining renovations will be completed over the next four years.
