PERRY, FL (WTXL) -- Taylor County is reviewing its final picks for a new county administrator after the current one announced he was resigning after two and a half years.
Dustin Hinkel will officially step down from the role at the end of the month.
The Board of County Commissioners has narrowed down a field of 17 applicants to just three.
The administrator runs day-to-day operations of county government for the board.
The final three candidates have experience in education, business and local government.
The board will meet later this week to discuss the search further and could decide on who takes the position.
