TAYLOR COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - A Taylor County man is not charged with the death of a 22-year-old, after a grand jury returns with a "no true bill" for the investigation.
Deputies say Justin Cox shot Travis Cruce on August 8th, after Cruce tried to confront a group of men nearby. The sheriff's office says Cruce stopped on CC Grade Road, partially blocking the roadway.
According to investigators, Cruce then approached the group of men in their car. That's when deputies say, cox got out of the car and shot the 22-year-old.
The grand jury returned the "no true bill," failing to indict Cox.
