TALLAHASSEE, FL (#WTXLDigital) - The historic Florida bear hunt began Saturday and hunters across the state are soon going to decide what they want to do with their trophy; one option is taxidermy.
Mike Reinhart is a full-time taxidermist at R&R Taxidermy. He invited WTXL Digital into his shop to give us a sneak-peak at what really goes into the art form. You can check out our visit by clicking the video.
Reinhart says he has already received calls from bear hunters inquiring about his work and is waiting to find out if he will get to work on any of the bears hunted in the area.
"It's not for everyone but it's fun to do, I like doing it," said Reinhart.
