TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Talquin Electric is sending crews to North Carolina to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.
Talquin is assembling 14 crew members to send to Brunswick EMS in Shallotte, NC to help with the aftermath from Hurricane Florence.
Talquin says the crew members will assist local co-ops with their restoration operations following the landfall of Hurricane Florence as part of the nationwide electric cooperative mutual assistance program.
Crews will leave Saturday morning at 8:00 am and expect to arrive Sunday in North Carolina.
Once crews arrive, they will stay as long as they are needed to assist with the restoration process.
Talquin stated they will release more details as they become available.
