Talquin Electric Says Wakulla County Water Safe to Drink

WAKULLA COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Talquin Electric said that the precautionary water boil notices for Wakulla County have been withdrawn.

The company said that the Spring Creek Highway area south of U.S. 98, to include Shell Point, Oyster Bay, and Live Oak Island, have all been cleared.

The company said that the water in those areas has been tested and is safe to drink.

They also retracted a boil water notice for another area near Spring Creek Hwy to include the Wakulla Gardens, the Park and the Rustling Pines subdivisions.
