TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Sunday crews were out painting and installing the finish line for this year's upcoming Tally Marathon.
They were able to complete the finish line and it is now ready for the 42nd annual event. According to Tally Marathon officials, new this year the event will have marathon and half-marathon courses that highlight local landmarks and parks throughout Tallahassee.
All proceeds from this year's race will be split between kidz1stfund and Gulf Winds Track Club.
Their first marathon race was held in 1975.
