TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A Tallahassee woman has been sentenced to over 10 years in prison for sex trafficking of a minor.

Christine Thurman, 29, plead guilty in January for sex trafficking of a minor and conspiracy to transport a minor for prostitution, according to U.S. Attorney Pamela Marsh.

Thurman was discovered after an undercover operation where investigators arranged to meet a minor from an online ad. She was seen leaving the room adjacent to the room the minor was being held in.

Thurman's personal belongings were also found in the room and an additional ad was found of a second victim Thurman had moved from Georgia to Tallahassee.

She was sentenced to 126 months in prison on Thursday which will be followed by 20 years of supervised release.
