Tallahassee Woman Arrested in Baton Rouge for Cashing Stolen Checks

Posted

BATON ROUGE, La. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee woman is now behind bars in Baton Rouge in connection to several burglaries and bank fraud cases.

Tina Marie Eggleston was taken into custody last week after she was seen cashing stolen checks with another suspect and then switching the tags on the rental car they were driving.

When they searched the car, they found a paper with a victim's personal identification information on it.

Law enforcement believe the two were part of the "Felony Lane Gang", who's members are known for breaking into cars and stealing women's purses and ID's.

Eggleston is now charged with burglary, theft and property damage.
