TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Police say six more people have been busted in an operation targeting prostitution in Tallahassee.
The Tallahassee Police Department says that they have arrested six more for prostitution related activity.
On Thursday, the TPD Special Investigations Section continued their sting to identify 'Johns' and individuals involved in prostitution activity.
The operation targeted several areas including the 900 block of W. Brevard St., South Monroe St., Golf Terrance Drive/Putnam Drive, and Dewey St./Delaware St.
Four of the suspects were arrested in broad daylight, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
The following people were arrested:
- Cassandra Bell, 43, of Tallahassee, Fla. -- Charged with prostitution (3rd offense) and resisting arrest
- Cher Battle, 44, of Tallahassee, Fla. -- Charged with a sex offense for soliciting prostitution (1st offense)
- Donna Wright, 46, of Tallahassee, Fla. -- Charged with prostitution (3rd offense)
- Donald Pagel, 53, of Crawfordville, Fla. -- Charged with a sex offense for soliciting prostitution (2nd offense)
- Sheila Brown, 56, of Tallahassee, Fla. -- Charged with a sex offense for soliciting prostitution (1st offense)
- Latisha Williams, 31, of Tallahassee, Fla. -- Charged with prostitution (1st offense)
According to multiple arrest reports, undercover officers were able to get the suspects to agree to exchanging money for sexual acts.
All six were transported to the Leon County Jail. Two of them, Battle and Pagel, have since bonded out of jail.
