TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Mother's Day may be over, but for one local mom the pampering is just beginning.

Judith McNeely, a mother of six adopted kids, just learned that she's been chosen for this year's "Tallahassee Total Mommy Makeover."

Being a mom often means putting your kids needs ahead of your own....and for this Tallahassee mom of six adopted boys, that couldn't be more true. But for the next three months, Judith McNeely will get to spend some quality time focusing on herself.

"I cried. I was super excited," McNeely said, "very teary, just thankful, really grateful, more than anything, just excited."

Nominated by her husband David, the senior pastor at Wildwood Church, Judith is the recipient of the 2018 "Tallahassee Total Mommy Makeover," receiving everything from fitness, nutrition, teeth whitening, hair, makeup, botox, lazor treatments, facials, fashion and more - all donated by local businesses, run by other moms.

The transformation concerns not just about how she will look outside but also how she will feel inside.

And maybe by the end, McNeely will learn that putting herself in a place of priority is important for her whole family.

"It's going to be a good challenge for me," she said. "It's going to be good to receive and it's teaching me a lot about loving my boys by loving me."
