TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee is calling a special meeting, where commissioners will decide on the newest member of the city's Ethics Board.
Next Wednesday, City Commissioners are expected to fill the seat one vacancy left by Lila Jaber, following her resignation.
Her term expired Thursday night. Seat one is the only position filled by the City Commission.
The selected applicant will serve the rest of the term alongside six other members.
There were 13 eligible applications for the vacant seat as of the December 28th deadline.
The next Ethics Board meeting will be held on January 19th.
